How many of you beleive that cats are reincarnation of bad spirits??? How many of you consider the wild but domesticated creature as bad omen? Do you cancel your errands if a cat happens to cross your way? If your answer is a confused "yes", then please explain to me the logic behind your belief......
Recently, while driving my car down an empty road, I hit a cat accidently. It was late in the night... so I thought it was better not to stop the car to see the poor creature's plight. My cousin who was with me explained this incident to his old grand mother. She proclaimed that the cat we hit is a "rakshas"- a malyalam word for an evil spirit. And she asked him to be more careful..... because rakshas will avenge the cruelty eventhough it was an accident.......!!!!!
I was trying to guess the logic behind this..... I hate these superstitions which are quite irrational that bob up just because of fear and ignorance...... and people manipulate it according to their whims and fancies...... and makes these beliefs anomalous and extensively marked by incongruity!!!!!!

I m nt superstitious and don't believe in it...as u said,of course, lack of education and there by the ignorance makes it a wide spread belief...
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.superstitions its just one story among millions we have in our society.u can hear more weird ones every day if u listen.its funny sometimes.
Woww! Ram Gopal Varma juz got himself a brand new comedy-horror script. "Billy" Ek Anokhee Dastaan. Or maybe the good 'ol Ramsay bro's can shoot a 3rd rate B-grade film titled "Billy Ka Badla" and even have a sleazy midnight Desi version of the song '"Billy" Jean is at my door'.
Apart from that i think the whole cat superstitions are utter bull. it's been propagated by grannies the world over with absolutely no logic or reasoning. the only reason i can think of is that these black cats [dear commandos, i respect what u did for us & no pun is intended here, seriously] look kinda scary. the jet black fur & Grey/Green eyes almost make u shit in your pants. so best thing to do is, wait a few secs, drink a glass of water, calm down & go ahead with whatever u are doing or wherever u are going... coz no freakin' cat is worth canceling anything u were supposed to do. "Superstitions" are called superstitions for a reason... if they made any sense they'd be in your physics text book! So...Chill bro, Cheers!
Ohh NO! Cheers reminded me of last week when we were havin beer... your bottle was the only one that fizzed out!!!!!! Careful bro, "Rakshas" shook your bottle while u left it unattended! Damn!
